Matt Riddle is president of Raytheon International, the company’s sales and marketing arm, where he is responsible for the company’s sales and marketing efforts in more than 80 countries worldwide.
The company says close to 25 percent of its total sales come from international business.
Raytheon maintains 16 international sales and consultant offices in Europe, Asia, Africa, North America and South America and has facilities in Australia, Europe and Canada that house light manufacturing, test and assembly and services employees.

Before joining Raytheon in August 2011, he served as a vice president and general manager of business operations at BAE Systems‘ U.S. subsidiary, helping lead the combat systems segment. In that capacity, he led more than 10,000 employees at more than 12 locations in designing, developing and producing ground combat and weapons systems.
Prior to that, he served as VP of wheeled sales at BAE and the company credits him with that segment recording $1.8 billion in annual sales.
From 2002 to 2005, Matt was the assistant general manager of FNSS Defense Systems, a joint venture in Turkey of BAE and Nurol. There, he led the operation of a 400-person facility comprised of engineering, operations, logistics, aftermarket support and facilities management personnel.
Between 1990 to 2002, he elevated from engineer to program manager at United Defense and FMC Corp.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from California Polytechnic State University, holds several patents in combat vehicle design, completed a Defense Department program managers course and is a Level III-certified program manager.
He also attended a financial education program for senior executives at the Harvard Business School and a strategic leadership program conducted by the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton Business School and Oxford University.
