Exelis Presenting Comm, Night Vision Tech At Defense Forum; Bob Durbin Comments

Exelis-LogoITT Exelis will present its technologies for the military, civil government and commercial sectors at a worldwide defense industry forum starting Monday in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The McLean, Va.-based technology contractor, will showcase its offerings for securing data communication networks and night-vision technology, Exelis said Friday.

The IDEX forum is scheduled to wrap up on Feb. 22.

“IDEX is a leading forum for customers seeking leading edge innovation for mission critical technologies,” said Bob Durbin, vice president of government relations for Exelis.

Exelis said it earned nearly 28 percent of its international revenue from Middle East-based customers for programs involving night vision, communications, electronic warfare and C4ISR (command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance).
