Jeremy Wensinger Leaves GTSI

jeremey GovConExecutiveJeremy Wensinger, chief operating officer at GTSI Corp., has departed the company nearly eight months after Unicom acquired GTSI for nearly $76.7 million, Washington Technology reports.

The more than two-decade industry veteran joined GTSI in October 2011 as COO after previously serving as president of Cobham‘s defense systems business unit.

Prior to Cobham, Wensinger spent 21 years at Harris Corp. and most recently served as president of the Melbourne, Fla.-based company’s government communications systems segment.

Sterling Phillips, formerly CEO at GTSI for nearly two years, joined USIS in January as president and CEO after leading GTSI through the sale to Unicom.
