Richard Kitts Promoted to Cisco Regional VP Post

Cisco-LogoRichard Kitts has been promoted to a regional vice president of services post at Cisco and Ken Boal has succeeded Kitts as managing director for Australia and New Zealand, ZDNet.com reported Friday.

Spandas Lui writes Kitts will oversee a region comprising of Asia-Pacific, Japan and Greater China after one year as managing director for Australia and New Zealand.

“I hope to bring my recent experiences in Australia and New Zealand along with my broader learnings globally to serve our Asia-Pacific customers and partners,” Kitts said, according to the report.

Boal initially joined Cisco in 2004 as a public sector national manager and has also led some enterprise customers groups, according to the report.

He will report to Nick Earle, Cisco senior vice president of services worldwide field operations, in his new role.
