BAE Earns Boeing Gold-Level Performance Award

BAESystemsLogoBAE Systems’ Singapore service center has won a performance excellence trophy from Boeing for providing gold star services to its commercial airline clients.

The company earned the 2012 Gold Boeing Performance Excellence Award for scoring a 100-percent rating in quality and delivery from October 2011 to September 2012, BAE said Thursday.

This award comes nearly two years after BAE won Boeing’s 2011 Supplier of the Year Pathfinder Award.

BAE and Boeing have worked together for nearly six decades evolved over the last six decades, including development of the F-4 aircraft’s first weapon control system and avionics and control subsystems for Boeing’s commercial and military aircraft.

In Asia, BAE provides aftermarket aircraft electronic services to more than 300 airlines out of its Singapore service center.
