BoeingLogoBoeing will display a flight simulator and demonstrate some of its cybersecurity offerings at an international aerospace and defense symposium in Brazil next week.

The company will also hold a series of media briefings at the Latin America Aerospace and Defense trade show between April 9 and 12, Boeing said Thursday.

“We look forward to expanding discussions on our portfolio of products and services with our customers in Brazil and Latin America,” said Roberto Valla, Boeing defense, space and security regional director of international business development for the Americas.

“There is growing demand for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities through unmanned aerial systems and cybersecurity solutions for protecting information throughout Latin America, especially in Brazil as they prepare to host major sporting events,” Valla added.

Donna Hrinak, president of Boeing Brazil, and Jeff Kohler, a vice president of international business development, will brief the media on the company’s business activities in Brazil and the Latin American defense sector.

Boeing’s Super Hornet flight simulator will be available to both customers and the general public during the show, intending to demonstrate both the single-seat E model and two-seat F-model.

The company is offering the jet for Brazil’s F-X2 fighter competition.
