Cubic Tops Aviation Week Industry Performance List; William Boyle Comments

Cubic Coporation logo_GovConExecutiveCubic Corp. has achieved the number one ranking on Aviation Week and Space Technology’s list of the top performing aerospace and defense companies in 2013 in the $1 billion-to-$5 billion revenue category.

Aviation Week published its lists of the leading aerospace and defense firms in its May 27 issue, Cubic said Wednesday.

“We continuously strive to create a culture that fosters innovation and have a genuine commitment to provide superior results for our customers,” said CEO William Boyle.

Aviation Week and industry analysts use a metrics system to compare firms’ performance in their peer group across categories such as return on invested capital, earnings momentum, asset management and financial health.

The magazine will honor Cubic and other winners at the Paris Air Show June 18.
