Elizabeth Rindskopf Parker Elected to MITRE Trustees Board

Elizabeth Rindskopf Parker, a former general counsel and legal adviser to federal agencies, has been elected to the board of trustees at MITRE Corp.

The 45-year public and private sector veteran has served as the State Department‘s principal deputy legal adviser and as general counsel for the CIA and the National Security Agency, MITRE said Tuesday.

She currently serves as dean emerita of the University of the Pacific’s McGeorge School of Law.

MITRE says she holds 45 years of experience in scholarly and legal work for civil rights litigation, national security and terrorism, technology development and transfer and international relations.

Parker also established the Journal of National Security Law and Policy and the Association of American Law Schools national security law committee.

Previously, she argued twice before the Supreme Court while a cooperating attorney for the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund.

In private practice, she  advised clients on public policy and international trade issues related to encryption and advanced technology.
