An Adobe software-only printing offering available to agencies on a Carahsoft GSA Schedule contract has been certified by the U.S. Army for use in its enterprise architecture and portion of the global information grid.

Organizations must obtain a certificate of networthiness from the Army before providing their products to agencies for use on the Army Enterprise Architecture/LandWarNet, Carahsoft said  Tuesday.

Carahsoft serves as Adobe’s master General Services Administration Schedule partner and helps distribute LeanPrint, which received the certificate.

Cortney Steiner, Carahsoft vice president of the Adobe government team at Carahsoft, said the Army evaluated LeanPrint’s security prior to issuing the certificate.

LeanPrint was also subjected to Army requirements for control, identification, measurement and cost savings potential.

Yuma Proving Ground’s network enterprise center filed for Adobe LeanPrint’s certification.
