SAIC Wins ACEEE Award for Energy Efficiency Program Promotion

SAIC-LogoScience Applications International Corp. has won the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy’s Exemplary Program Award for its services to help implement a statewide energy efficiency and renewable energy program.

Wisconsin’s Focus on Energy program aims to provide companies financial incentives for commercial and industrial engineering projects that promote energy efficiency, SAIC said Tuesday.

SAIC promotes the incentive program to food processors, metal casters, plastics manufacturers, wastewater facilities operators and other businesses.

The company says it helped more than 3,000 clients receive $70 million in incentives and save approximately 700 million kilowatt hours per year through Focus on Energy.

ACEEE recognizes programs that aim to help households and businesses achieve energy efficiency through innovation.
