Adil Attlassy Becomes IO SVP of Global Operations

Adil AttlassyAdil Attlassy, a 17-year colocation and telecommunications industry veteran, has been appointed senior vice president of global operations at software-defined data center developer IO.

He will work in a Singapore-based office to direct international corporate affairs and will report to Chief Technology Officer Bill Slessman, IO said May 1.

Attlassy will be responsible for managing the IO Data Center 2.0 global strategy for business standardization and systems integration.

Prior to IO, he led Digital Realty Trust‘s business development strategies in the Asia-Pacific region.

That company credits him with helping generate $300 million in profits from projects in Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney and Melbourne.

He also spent seven years helping Digital Reality Trust expand 64 data center hubs in the APAC, Europe and North America regions.
