Andrew Sage, former vice president of Cisco‘s worldwide partner-led organization, has been appointed to the same position for the company’s distribution business in the Americas.
He will oversee sales, marketing and logistics operations for the region’s distribution channel in his new role, according to a blog post co-authored by Cisco’s Julie Hens and Wendy Bahr.
Sage, a 14-year veteran, is credited with helping develop the company’s go-to-market sales strategy and a portfolio of partner-focused commercial initiatives.
He has also previously served as VP of worldwide small business sales and was responsible for sales programs, channels and field coverage models.
Before that, he was VP of the worldwide channels marketing organization and led a Cisco channel partner initiative in partnership with the central marketing and global field organizations.
