EMC Partners with Indian University to Offer Technology Courses

EMCEMC Corp. has signed a memorandum of understanding with Indian university Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya to build a corporate school in RGPV’s Bhopal campus, CIOL reported Tuesday.

The school will offer courses to engineering graduates including information storage and management, cloud infrastructure and services, backup recovery systems and architecture and data science and big data analytics, according to the report.

EMC aims for the collaboration to help in addressing the industry’s talent gap, the publication reports.

The company will provide RGPV with a laboratory intended to run the courses, develop student recruitment programs, train faculty members and supply curriculum, tools and software services, according to CIOL.

EMC will also appoint four technology experts to the school’s advisory board.
