Engility a Prime on $854M Marine Corps Logistics Support Program; Tony Smeraglinolo Comments

Engility Corp. has been selected as a prime contractor for a U.S. Marine Corps global supply chain and logistics management support program worth up to $854 million over five years.

The company will provide logisticians, information technology specialists and trainers to the Marine Corps Logistics Command in Albany, Ga., Engility said Thursday.

Tony Smeraglinolo, president and CEO, said this award win grows the company’s supply chain services and logistics management portfolio with defense and federal agencies.

Engility is one of 19 awardees in the full-and-open competition for the Marine Corps Logistics Support Services program and one of 30 winners overall (GovCon Wire has all the details on the program here).

Each contract contains provisions for firm-fixed-price, time and material and cost-plus- fixed-fee task orders.
