Pamela Merritt serves as federal marketing lead and senior manager for Deloitte’s federal practice, where she is responsible for positioning the company’s brand in the federal marketplace.
Her responsibilities for Deloitte Federal Government Services include marketing strategy, messaging, thought leadership and integrated marketing programs around leading industry issues and C-level communities.
Prior to joining Deloitte in May 2009, the 15-year industry veteran was the marketing director for BearingPoint Public Services, a $1.3 billion business unit serving government, education and healthcare organizations.
At BearingPoint, Merritt was responsible for marketing strategy, strategic programs and communications.
In her role, she worked to increase the company’s brand in the federal marketplace and increase awareness and differentiation through programs, including Wrap the Beltway, an integrated advertising and marketing program that won GovMark Council’s Best Design Award in 2008.
She also led New Thinking in Government, a multi-channel marketing program in collaboration with public relations featuring the GovTube video series that garnered an ITSMA award nomination in 2009.
Merritt received undergraduate degrees in english and philosophy from Boston University and an MBA from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business.
