A General Dynamics business unit has won an Oracle specialized partner of the year award for the unit’s innovation and performance in the U.K.’s healthcare sector.
The Oracle Independent Software Vendor/ Original Equipment Manufacturer award recognizes General Dynamics Information Technology for its work to develop reporting software for the U.K. Department of Health, General Dynamics announced Thursday.
GDIT intends for the Calculating Quality Reporting Service to calculate healthcare quality measures and performance-based payments for general practitioners.
Stephen Meyler, U.K. managing director for GDIT, said the unit aims for the software to help the department measure and link healthcare quality to payment.
General Dynamics is also a Gold level member of the Oracle PartnerNetwork.
