Jacobs to Compete on $854M Marine Corps Logistics IDIQ; Robert Norfleet Comments

Jacobs - ExecutiveMosaicJacobs Engineering Group has been selected to compete for task orders under an estimated $854 million logistics support services contract awarded by the U.S. Marine Corps.

The five-year indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract seeks management assistance for various organizational facilities in different areas, Jacobs said Tuesday.

“We are delighted to have this opportunity to broaden our partnership with the Marine Corps,” said Robert Norfleet, a Jacobs group vice president.

As covered on GovCon Wire, Jacobs is one of 19 companies selected as part of a full-and-open competition and one of 34 total awardees of the Marine Corps Logistics Support Services program.

Task orders could cover logistics training, program development, information technology management and related fields.

Work will occur at selected Marine Corps facilities within and outside the continental U.S.
