Maximus has donated $21,860 to the American Red Cross for the organization’s relief efforts in Oklahoma after the May 20 tornado in Moore.
The Red Cross will use the funds to provide meals, supplies and emotional support to residents in Moore, Shawnee and other communities in Oklahoma, Maximus said Wednesday.
John Boyer, Maximus Foundation chairman, said the company’s employees in Oklahoma City made the donations.
“The money raised is from employee contributions, both locally and across the nation, and corporate matching funds,” Boyer added.
Maximus said the Red Cross has already provided and distributed 141,000 snacks and meals, 29,000 relief items and more than 6.300 health services to residents since the tornado.
