ASRC Federal will provide electrical systems engineering support to NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center under a potential five-year contract worth up to $475 million.
The Electrical Systems Engineering Services II contract covers support for Goddard’s instrument and spacecraft programs, the company said Tuesday.
“We are excited to have this opportunity to provide engineering and manufacturing support to NASA Goddard Space Flight Center programs that are critical to NASA’s earth and space science missions,” said Paul Dillahay, ASRC Federal president and CEO.
“Our team is eager to support Goddard’s applied engineering and technology directorate on a wide range of missions and projects,” Dillahay added.

Projects and missions covered under ESS II include:
- Advanced Topographic Laser Altimeter System
- Global Precipitation Measurement
- James Webb Space Telescope
- Landsat Data Continuity
- Magnetospheric MultiScale
- Soil Moisture Active-Passive
- Soft X-Ray Spectrometer for ASTRO-H
ASRC Federal will work to help NASA develop new technologies for future space and science missions under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
The company will also help design, develop, fabricate, integrate, test, verify and operate hardware and software for spaceflight, airborne and ground systems.
