Rafael Matos Appointed Military Operations Research Society President

WBBlogoRafael Matos, a consultant at Whitney, Bradley and Brown, has been elected to serve as president of the Military Operations Research Society.

He will be inaugurated as the organization’s official leader in June 2014 during the MORS Annual Symposium, WBB said Tuesday.

Matos said he will work to help MORS promote initiatives support the goals of society members and career professionals.

The retired U.S. Navy officer has held several positions in MORS since he joined the organization 10 years ago, including as secretary.

In that role, he managed the society’s heritage, awards and prize committees.

He also has served as vice president and executive council member since joining the MORS board of directors in 2009.
