Tom Watson: SAIC to Help Operate Navy Info, Net Units Under $73M IDIQ

SAIC-Logo_ExecutiveBiz1Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAI) is one of three companies competing for task orders under a potential $73 million contract covering infrastructure sustainment services for the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific.

SSC Pacific intends for work under the three-year indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to help its shore networks branch develop and manage information systems, SAIC said Wednesday.

Tom Watson, senior vice president of SAIC’s Navy and Marine Corps group, said the company will help SSC Pacific operate ashore, ground and afloat units with the goal of achieving information and network dominance.

SAIC will also help integrate, produce, update, certify and accredit network components and enterprise applications for shore systems.

Booz Allen Hamilton and Engility Corp. are the other two companies that hold spots on the IDIQ (click here for more details on GovCon Wire).
