Deloitte Buys NZ Tech Firms for Implementation Strategy; Thomas Pippos, Matthew Hitch Comment

deloitteDeloitte has acquired New Zealand-based technology companies Asparona and Tango as part of the consulting firm’s growth strategy, Voxy reported Thursday.

Citing a statement from Deloitte CEO Thomas Pippos, the website reports the two equity firms and more than 120 employees will be added to Deloitte.

Matthew Hitch, Deloitte consulting lead, told Voxy the acquisition aims to help the firm fulfill its customers’ growing demand for technology implementation and other services.

Asparona implements Oracle services and Tango deploys SAP applications, Voxy reports.

Ian Rogers and Phil Bratton, respective owners of Asparona and Tango, will join Deloitte as equity partners and the technology firms’ employees will continue to operate out of their current locations, according to the report.
