Erwin Tjipuka Appointed Deloitte Namibia Managing Partner

deloitteErwin Tjipuka, chief financial officer at Deloitte Namibia, will become managing partner of the firm starting in January 2014, AllAfrica reported Friday.

The report says he will succeed Junius Mungunda, who plans to step down this December and focus on other private business endeavors.

Tjipuka first worked at Deloitte between 1997 to 2005 and returned in October of last year as CFO after seven years at FNB, according to the article.

He first served as a group finance manager at FNB and was promoted to CFO in 2008, the report says.

AllAfrica reports Tjipuka holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce, a post-graduate degree in accounting and a master’s in business administration.
