Five Elected to US Geospatial Intelligence Foundation Board; Stu Shea Comments

The United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation’s board of directors appointed five new members at its June 19 meeting.

The USGIF board now has 35 directors with the addition of Dewey Houck, Keith Littlefield, Gabriela Maldonado, Jennifer Stansall and Jeffrey Tarr, the USGIF said Monday.

Stu Shea, USGIF board chairman and SAIC COO, said the new board members will aim to help the USGIF grow and address issues that have an impact on the GEOINT community.

Houck is vice president and general manager of Boeing’s information solutions business unit, where he leads the firm’s information sharing and management implementations.

Littlefield, who joined TASC as chief technology officer after holding the same role at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, steers the company’s research, development and technical fellow programs.

Maldonado, a senior consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, serves as GEOINT production lead for intelligence briefings to the homeland security secretary.

She also provides GEOINT development knowledge to DHS mission partners and is a member of USGIF’s Young Professionals Working Group along with Stansall.

Stansall is responsible for DigitalGlobe’s global strategic alliance partners in the commercial, defense and intelligence markets as the firm’s senior account manager.

Tarr, president and CEO of DigitalGlobe, previously served as president and COO of IHS and chairman and CEO of Hoover’s.
