Insitu, an unmanned aircraft systems provider, has partnered with Airware to allow interoperability between its ground control software with the latter’s autopilots.
Under the partnership, Insitu’s ICOMC2 will be offered as an additional ground control station on all Airware autopilot systems, Airware announced Monday.
Airware will feature the combined solution at booth 3921 at the Unmanned Systems North America event.
Airware has also announced the appointment of Paul Mikesell, co-founder of Isilon Systems and Clustrix, as the company’s new vice president of engineering.
The Newport Beach, Calif.-based company also said that it will open its second office in San Francisco later this year.
Additionally, Airware will participate in the upcoming Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International Unmanned Systems conference in Washington, D.C.
