A group of 250 international executives selected her for the “Bronze Stevie Award”, which is given to leaders in the information technology industry, NJVC said Thursday.
DeCourcey leads a team that works with customers in the defense and intelligence sectors, among others, to protect their IT infrastructures against potential threats and intrusions.
She also provides cybersecurity lectures to high school students and appears at events as an industry speaker.
“The NJVC leadership team and I were thrilled to receive the news that Lynn DeCourcey was the recipient of such an honor” NJVC President Jody Tedesco said.
“To be recognized by her peers internationally for her numerous contributions to the cybersecurity field is a tremendous testament to Lynn’s contributions to NJVC customer missions, and her leadership,” Tedesco added.
Organizations from nearly 50 countries and territories made more than 3,300 nominations for the award categories.
