Savvis Appoints 3 VPs in EMEA Region; James Parker Comments

SavvisLogoSavvis Inc. has appointed Ian Bryant, Eric McDougal and Nick Barley as vice presidents for advanced services, sales and global marketing respectively in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.

The three executives will work to grow the CenturyLink company’s cloud, hosting and colocation services across EMEA, Savvis said Tuesday.

James Parker, senior vice president of global sales and marketing at Savvis, said the company’s Europe-based leads will aim to help Savvis fulfill the region’s information technology requirements.

Bryant was most recently responsible for Cognizant Technology Solutions’ IT infrastructure services in Europe and previously served as Capgemini’ VP for UK outsourcing.

McDougal was formerly sales lead at Savvis in the U.S. for five years after holding several executive roles at Daugherty Business Solutions, Wipro Technologies and CSC.

Barley, a 25-year veteran in the IT industry and most recently Juniper Networks’ VP for EMEA marketing, has joined Savvis as VP for international marketing across the EMEA and Asia Pacific markets.

Prior to that, he served various marketing positions at Microsoft, Oracle, Computer Associates and Hewlett-Packard.
