URS has won a five-year contract worth a potential $325 million to support a fleet of power generation plants handled by DTE Energy.
Under the contract, URS will maintain, consult, engineer, procure and provide technical services to DTE Energy, the company said Monday.
The company will perform the required services for DTE’s nuclear and fossil power generation plants at its Southfield, Mich., facility.
Robert W. Zaist, URS president for energy and construction, said the company has worked with DTE for 22 years.
Detroit-based DTE Energy provides electricity to 2.1 million customers in southeastern Michigan and handles a natural gas facility that serves 1.2 million customers in the state.
