Global Technology Resources Inc. has been selected for a potential six-year, $6.9 billion contract for network-centric technology and services to the U.S. Air Force.
The firm-fixed price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract is for the branch’s NETCENTS-2 program intended to provide voice, data and video capabilities during combat missions, GTRI said Tuesday.
Barb Beckner, GTRI vice president of federal programs, said the company has supported global Air Force operations to protect national security for the past two years.
NETCENTS-2 products include networking equipment, servers and storage, peripherals, identity management and biometric hardware and associated software.
