Marillyn Hewson, Lockheed Martin president and CEO, has joined a White House committee that advises President Barack Obama about international trade issues, the Washington Business Journal reported Thursday.

Jill Altoro writes that Marriott International CEO Arne Sorenson and AES Corp. CEO Andres Gluski are also among the new members of the Export Council.

Hewson, Sorenson and Gluski joins other industry CEOs that have previously joined the council such as Boeing‘s Jim McNerney, Caesars Entertainment Corp.’s Gary Loveman, and Walt Disney’s Robert Iger.

Obama can appoint up to 28 business executives for the council, Aitoro reports.
