Dell Obtains Patent for B2B Visualization Tech

Dell - ExecutiveMosaicDell Software has been awarded a U.S. patent for a technology that works to help facilitate web-based access to selecting and associating business process elements for a business-to-business or application integration process visualization tool.

The company was also awarded a patent for its Dell Boomi Atom technology, a runtime engine that allows the execution of integrated process on-premises or in the cloud, Dell announced Thursday.

Michael Morton, Dell Boomi chief technology officer, said the company designed Dell Boomi AtomSphere to help customers run integrations on-premises and in the cloud.

Dell said that it expects approval from the United States Patent and Trademark Office for the other 14 patents-pending associated with Dell Boomi.
