Douglas Raaberg Appointed Northrop UAE CEO; David Perry Comments

northrop-Grumman_BLUEDouglas Raaberg, a former director for Northrop Grumman‘s aerospace systems sector, has been appointed CEO of the company’s United Arab Emirates business.

He will assume the role Oct. 14 and be responsible for growth strategies, corporate programs and business relations in the region, Northrop said Monday.

David Perry, Northrop corporate vice president and chief global business development officer, said Raaberg will work to help the company broaden its global market focus in his new position.

Raaberg formerly led a portfolio of battle management command and control systems for the Joint STARS, B-2, F/A-18, E-2D, and F-35 fleets.

Before joining Northrop, he served in the U.S. Air Force for three decades in variety of command, operational and staff positions and held the rank of major general.

He was a command pilot and recorded more than 4,700 flight hours on bomber, fighter and trainer jets.
