General Dynamics to Compete on $900M Navy Cyber IDIQ; Charlie Plummer Comments

general dynamics logoGeneral Dynamics is one of 13 companies that have won positions on a potential five-year, $900 million contract to help the U.S. Navy secure and defend the branch’s network and data.

Awardees will compete to provide full-system lifecycle support to the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the company announced Tuesday.

Charlie Plummer, vice president and general manager of General Dynamics Information Technology‘s IT solutions sector, said the company will work to help the Navy protect the U.S.’ cyber infrastructure and information.

The Integrated Cyber Operations Services Multiple Award Pillar program covers engineering, development and operational services for cybersecurity and network operations in Charleston, S.C. and other locations worldwide.
