CACI International holds prime spot on the Department of Homeland Security’s potential seven-year, $22 billion enterprise information technology products and services contract.

The multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions II vehicle has a base period of five years and an option for two additional years, CACI said Wednesday.

“Protecting the homeland and supporting agencies entrusted with this critical responsibility are always top priorities for all of us at CACI,” said Ken Asbury, president and CEO of CACI.

“Since the inception of the DHS, CACI has served as a strategic partner for the agency’s mission-critical initiatives, so we are pleased for this continuing vote of confidence in our people and our solutions,” he added.

John Mengucci, CACI chief operating officer and president of U.S. operations, said this IDIQ builds on the company’s past work to help DHS carry out its mission under the predecessor EAGLE program.

CACI’s position is on the unrestricted track of EAGLE II’s functional category one, which covers services  to help develop, implement and maintain technologies for IT functions of agency-wide programs.
