Steven Painter of Parsons Named National Center for Simulation’s Vice Chair

Steven Painter, a vice president in Parsons‘ government services group, has been appointed to serve as vice chairman of the National Center for Simulation’s board of directors.

Painter most recently served the board’s treasurer and will serve an additional three-year term on the board from October 2013 to September 2016, the company announced Tuesday.

The National Center for Simulation is a nonprofit trade association that functions as an open consortium for the public, private and academic sectors.

At Parsons, Painter serves as VP of the mission support and training sector and is responsible for growing the company’s work with Defense Department agencies to model, simulate and analyze technologies.
