Teradata Architect Wins Award for China Expansion

David Wang, a data center architect at Teradata, was honored by The Green Grid, a resource efficiency organization, for his assistance in the organization’s expansion into China.

Receiving the key contributor award, Wang helped The Green Grid organize its first forum in China last Sept. 5 in Beijing. He also served as the host and speaker for the event, Teradata said Wednesday.

Wang has also served as an advisor to The Green Grid board of directors about the issues in the Chinese market, language barriers and culture and business practice gaps.

He was also the keynote speaker and award presenter at the CDC 2012 Beijing, an event focused on energy conservation.

Teradata has helped and served as a contributor member to The Green Grid since 2007.
