Tetra Tech to Help Regional Airline Study Navigation Tech

TetraTechLogoTetra Tech AMT has won a contract to help Porter Airlines with a feasibility study on required navigation performance technology with an aim to boost operations efficiency for the airline.

The regional airline seeks to examine procedural efforts with the goal of achieving environmental, safety and operational gains, Tetra Tech said Oct. 21.

Tetra Tech will also help analyze noise footprint at the Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, aiming to help cut down airplane noise and emissions

Porter Airlines uses the Toronto Island airport as a main hub for the company’s Q400 fleet.
