Women GovCon Leaders Nominated for ‘Heroines in Technology’ Awards

b-w world-peopleThe Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association of Northern Virginia and the March of Dimes have announced 22 finalists for awards program to recognize contributions of women to community service and philanthropy.

Nominees for the 13th Annual Heroines in Technology Awards Gala are female technology industry leaders who support humanitarian causes, the organizations said Sept. 17.

Profits from the event next month at the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner are intended to aid research and development initiatives and other programs for reducing infant mortality and other birth-related issues.

Harris Corp., IBM, Sapient and AFCEA International are corporate sponsors for the gala, as well as DC Magazine, Federal News Radio, FedScoop, and SmartCEO Magazine.

The 22 finalists to this year’s Annual Heroines in Technology Awards Gala are:
