BAE Systems Detica to Supply Security Tools for New Zealand Gov’t Agency; Richard Watson Comments

bae systems detica logoBAE Systems Detica has been selected to develop security services for New Zealand’s Department of Internal Affairs information and communications technology panel, ITWire reported Monday.

Peter Dinham writes that panel is tasked with providing security services to various government agencies in New Zealand.

Richard Watson, managing director for Asia Pacific and Middle East at BAE Systems Detica, told the publication the company intends to deliver services for computer forensics, investigation, incident response, risk management, assessment, security governance, architecture and design, security consulting, certification and network and application testing.

“It is a great step forward in the company’s continued investment and commitment to this region and to the security market,” Watson added.
