Boeing Showcases Defense Offerings at Australia’s Pacific Maritime Exposition; Bill Profilet Comments

BoeingLogoBoeing is participating in the Pacific Maritime Exposition which is being held at the same time as Australia’s International Fleet Review.

The company is showcasing its offerings at the event including the P-8A, ScanEagle and Harpoon, according to a Boeing statement.

The fleet review commemorates the 100th anniversary of the first time the Royal Australian Fleet sailed into Sydney Harbor.

“From that day in 1913, the Commonwealth has continued to grow its naval capabilities through the dedicated men and women of the RAN,” said Bill Profilet, vice president of Australia business development for Boeing Defense, Space & Security.

Thus far, 7,300 Harpoon missiles have been delivered to the U.S. Navy and 30 international customers.
