CAE and Aeroscraft Corp. have signed a memorandum of understanding that will allow them to explore potential business relations for the latter’s new cargo airship.
The deal will allow Aeroscraft to develop a training program concept of operations for Aeroscraft military and commercial customers, Aeroscraft announced Monday.
“Our aim is to be the partner of choice for customers who want to leverage simulation-based training to enhance safety, efficiency and readiness,” said Ray Duquette, president and general manager at CAE USA
“We look forward to working with Aeroscraft to define and develop a total training system program that plays a role in ensuring aircrews are well-prepared to safely and efficiently operate the Aeroscraft,” he added.
The company said the memorandum will allow them to use CAE’s simulation technology and global training infrastructure that will come in handy as they begin global distribution of the Aeroscraft airship in fiscal year 2016.
“CAE will strategically aid the Aeroscraft Corporation by freeing our focus and organizational resources for what we do best, which is accelerating fleet development for a new cargo airship aimed at achieving Federal Aviation Administration type certification in FY2016,” said Igor Pasternak, CEO of Aeros.
