Brent Greene serves as president and CEO of Applied Communications Sciences where he is responsible for the global operations of the firm, its profit and loss, strategic planning and program execution.
The 22-year defense industry veteran most recently served as president of Telcordia‘s advanced technology solutions business unit.
Prior to that role Greene was vice president of national security communications and director of cyber integration for Northrop Grumman Information Systems where he oversaw wireless interoperability, cybersecurity, smart grid, IT coordination and the critical infrastructure protection business.
His industry roles prior to Northrop Grumman included VP of strategic initiatives at Lucent Technologies and Bell Labs Innovations.
Greene also held a number of government leadership roles earlier in his career including director of the National Communications System for the Department of Homeland Security from 2001-2004.
He also served as Defense Department Commissioner and helped to create the President’s Commission on Critical Infrastructure Protection, the Marsh Commission.
Greene served on nuclear submarines during his career in the U.S. Navy and retired as a Captain in 1995.
He is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy.
