Executive Profile: Peter Flynn, Bostonia Partners EVP and Managing Partner

Peter Flynn_Bostonia_EMPeter Flynn serves as managing partner and executive vice president of Bostonia Partners – an investment banking, financial services, and securities sales and trading firm he co-founded – and has structured and placed around $1 billion in federal, municipal and commercial energy efficiency and renewable energy projects while with the firm.

According to the company, the 20-year law and finance veteran was lead banker on two of the largest-ever federal energy energy savings performance projects.

  • $102 million project for the U.S. Navy in Japan
  • $160 million project for the Food and Drug Administration.

He is the co-author of “Unique Issues Associated with Financing Federal Government Receivables” an article that appeared in The Journal of Structured Finance.

A Boston Univeristy School of Law graduate, Flynn earned an undergraduate degree with Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa honors at Syracuse University and has a professional background in additional areas including  project finance, real estate finance, securitization and public private partnerships.

He also serves as a member of the planning committee for GovEnergy, a tradeshow and workshop designed to help Federal agencies meet energy management goals and mandates.
