INSA Names J.D. Crouch, Thomas Kirchmaier and 7 Others to Leadership Posts


The Intelligence and National Security Alliance has named five new members to its board of directors and an additional four members to its board of advisors for the 2014 term.

The appointees, who come from government, industry and academia, will serve with INSA board chairman John Negroponte and other current board members, INSA announced Monday.

The new members of INSA’s 2014 board of directors are J.D. Crouch, QinetiQ North America CEO; Barbara Fast, CGI Federal senior vice president of Army Defense and Intelligence Programs; Scott Large, Deloitte Consulting LLP director; Mark Lowenthal, Intelligence and Security Academy president and Alden Munson, Potomac Institute for Policy Studies senior fellow.

The new directorial appointees will join 10 current board of director members for a three-year term.

With the addition of four new members, INSA’s 2014 board of advisors will now include Ronald Burgess Jr., Auburn University senior counsel for National Security Programs, Cyber Programs and Military Affairs; Babs Doherty, Eagle Ray Inc. president and CEO; John Hynes, TASC Inc. executive vice president and chief operating officer; and Thomas Kirchmaier, General Dynamics corporate vice president and General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems president.

The appointments put the total number of members of the board of advisors to 21.
