The Kelly Aviation Center of Lockheed Martin and the Middle East’s Skyone Maintenance Services have announced a business alliance at the Dubai Air Show.

According to Skyone CEO Salim Sayani, the partnership will allow them to use the Kelly Aviation Center’s expertise to create a single center of maintenance, repair and overhaul services for airframes and engines, Lockheed Martin announced Tuesday.

“Through these technical and commercial collaborations, we are implementing phase one of our plans to develop our 225,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art MRO facility that is near completion in Fujairah, UAE,” Sayani added.

The Kelly Aviation Center is a center of excellence for commercial and military aircraft engine maintenance, repair, overhaul and test, providing services for 11 different engines.

Skyone is located at the Fujairah International Airport in the Middle East.
