A Raytheon’ subsidiary has achieved the Cross Domain System Authorization and Authority to Operate for Secret and Below Interoperability certification for the business’ big data transfer tool.

Government customers use that approval system to connect to classified networks and evaluate SABI sites for accreditation, Raytheon said Wednesday.

Ed Hammersla, chief operating officer at Raytheon Trusted Computer Solutions, said federal customers have used the company’s High Speed Guard big data transfer service to manage big data.

The commercial-off-the-shelf HSG product works to transfer data across various networks at different classification levels.

RTCS’ HSG service has been used for big data transfer for 15 years and was approved to operate within sensitive networks at a protection level four for Top Secret/SCI and Below Interoperability in 2001, Raytheon says.
