SAICScience Applications International Corp. has won a position on a potential 5-year $890 million contract to provide the U.S. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic with infrastructure, computing and transport support work.

The multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract is meant to support command, control, communications, computers, combat systems, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance initiatives through a one-year base period and four one-year options to be exercised, SAIC said Tuesday.

“The scope of this contract covers the entire spectrum of services and solutions associated with the full system life-cycle support for SSC Atlantic’s networking and computing mission,” said Tom Watson, senior vice president of Navy and Marine Corps customer group at SAIC.

SAIC will compete with 13 other awardees for task orders to research and develop, evaluate, manufacture and field equipment intended for information operations, C5ISR, space capabilities and enterprise information work.
