Wounded Warrior Project Starts Grant Cycle RFP Period

wwpWounded Warrior Project has added a request for proposal process to its grants cycle for 2014, where the organization will work to directly seek other organizations that carry out programs for soldiers.

WWP is already accepting letters of interest for the first grant cycle of 2014, the organization announced Friday.

The request for proposals will be categorized into four main categories: economic empowerment, engagement, mind and body.

WWP said it added RFP process after conducting a survey of almost 14,000 Iraq and Afghanistan service members through the 2013 WWP Annual Alumni Survey.

Completed letters of interest must be submitted by Dec. 6 so they will be eligible to submit a full RFP application and considered for a grant, WWP said.
