Cisco and Telecom Egypt have agreed on a joint project that would provide managed service offerings for enterprises, Zawya reported Monday.
The report said the two sides signed a memorandum of understanding detailing the team-up on the sidelines of Cairo ICT 2013, a telecom, information technology and media trade fair for the Middle East and Africa.
Through the partnership, Cisco said it intends to leverage TE’s services and network solutions to offer user flexibility that targets “time, effort and cost” issues.
Mohammed Elnawawy, managing director and CEO of Telecom Egypt, said, “the Egyptian market is an exciting one, growing rapidly and with great prospects for future growth,” adding, “converged communication has become one of the basics of life.”
