EMC Presents Govplace with Federal Partner Award; Dan Dougherty Comments

EMCGovplace has won the federal partner award from the EMC Corp. during the EMC Federal Partner Executive Summit in Leesburg, Va. in October.

Govplace, a value-added reseller that provides information technology offerings for the public sector, won the award under the Isilon Products category, Govplace announced Monday.

“Federal is more than a market – it’s a community, so these relationships are more important than ever,” said Dan Dougherty, EMC Federal vice president, talking about the company’s industry partners.

Winners of the EMC Federal Partner of the Year awards are judged based on their “innovative solutions, unparalleled customer service, revenue generated, and a commitment to customer success.”

“We are very pleased to be recognized by EMC and consider it a privilege to have them as a strategic partner,” said Ryan McCullough, Govplace, vice president and general manager for federal.

“EMC Isilon is an important part of our sales strategy and our continued success,” he added.
